Football Star Aaron Ramsey Boosts Bounty for Missing Canine in Mexico to £15,000
Wales athlete Aaron Ramsey has increased the incentive for leads concerning his vanished pet named Halo to fifteen thousand pounds.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently represents the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, stated that the beagle was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state region.
The beagle, who went missing on October 9th, was equipped with a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey published a map pinpoint of her last known location.
"Any sort of updates about our beloved Halo please get in touch with us. Significant incentive for locating her. We are all praying she's ok and will return with us soon," Ramsey wrote on social media.
Earlier Offer and Heartfelt Pleas
Ramsey initially announced that Halo had gone missing two weeks ago and has subsequently shared numerous images of the beloved dog on his social media account.
A $ten thousand dollar reward was originally announced, but with lack of updates on the dog's location after a week, Ramsey and his family increased the reward.
"We just want our pet home," he said in another appeal on his online platforms after the decade-old dog was lost.
The latest photograph upload is a grayscale image of Halo napping, its head resting in the bend of Ramsey's elbow, with the message: "What I'd do to cuddle you again Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Context
Ramsey has also shared a note from his wife Colleen on social media saying they have a few "pressing queries" about the disappearance and are concerned the family "could possibly not receive answers".
"We still haven't found Halo. It is unlikely we ever will," the spouse's update stated.
The Welsh leader signed with Mexico's premier club Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and made his inaugural match in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
The Caerphilly-born athlete is the pioneering prominent British Isles player to compete in the Mexican league.
